Do we know he was religious? He was half Iranian - and Iranians are not known for being very religious in the US. The only thing I really know about his beliefs was that he recommended *Might Is Right*. That is a Social Darwinist text that comes off pretty militantly atheist and has influenced contemporary Satanism.
