I'm simply curious because I'm thinking of adding a share button for Poal and a share button for Phuks to posts on the Sandia Mesa websites, such as the episodes of My Little Hood. And if there are other instances of Throat out there besides Phuks and Poal, I might combine the two into a Throat share button where you would just enter the address of the Throat instance you want to share the post or episode to.

helped a german guy to install an instance of throat for his website, but after some time they decided to go full WordPress (never go full WordPress)... :D

Honestly, my dude. Like if you want to do a blog site or something along the lines like I have, just use a fork like ClassicPress instead of WordPress. Especially if you want to get away from all the Gutenberg bullshit without the need for an additional plugin to stop Gutenberg.

WP is so restrictive and the conflicts between all the themes and plugins makes it a pain to maintain.

It's like Lego, but you can never find the proper pieces so you have to build your own.

Exactly. Like I've found with some pieces of the puzzle that some will work better than others. And then if there's nothing really that can do a simple function such as sharing on Gab or Mastodon, I just decided to say screw it and build my own button and add it to the functions of my current theme. Because at the end of the day, it's not worth buying a gajillion premium plugins with annual subscriptions if you can do it on your own or with a better plugin that is free and open source software.
