One thing comes to mind that I haven't seen asked yet.
How long with the DDOS keep up? Does Putt have a backup plan to bring Voat back online or are we just going to wait for the attackers to quit?

Some of us have reason to believe Putt is not in control of the sight at this moment.

site not sight

Yep, sorry. Are you an English teacher? Does it personally offend you when someone accidentally types the wrong word?

I saw that alluded to a while back but never followed up. If you don't mind giving a summary I'd appreciate it.

Someone I know who's a good programmer made some suggestions on how to improve voat to make it more resistant to these attacks. This was done in a PM, whoever replied was rude, said they didn't need his help and banned him for his efforts. Very un Putt like. I've never heard Putt be rude to anyone. And you wouldn't be rude to someone who's just trying to help anyway. That just doesn't make sense.

(((CloudFlare))) is probably allowing it to happen. They need to switch to Bit Mitigate or something.

I thought they'd moved away from Cloudflare already.

Putt won't drop cloudflare, won't ditch reCaptcha, won't address crypto donations, and shills for PIA even though they work with 5 Eyes and do deep packet inspection. HMM

I remember seeing the CloudFlare 503 error screen last night when trying to get on.
