LOL - correct on all points. Not to mention it'll be hard to trek across open desert in plus 100 degree temps. Even if ya make it and they don't drive you off, you'll see a bunch of locked hangars and a huge runway. Exciting stuff to suffer the heat for, aye.

From my understanding, it was thrown out as a joke, but a crowd of fools take it seriously. I doubt it'll ever turn out to be anything in reality.

Local hotels/motels etc have been selling out w/ their phones ringing off the hook. I think a bunch of idiots will show up, do some drugs in the desert, and some journalists will film and interview them. I actually expect a band to join in and turn this into a music festival.
