I'm trying to make my diet more traditionally Danish / Scandinavian. That means rye. Dense rye with no wheat filler. But no flour is available for the everyday joe. Next time you are at the grocery store look for it. You'll be surprised.

I'll end up having to order this stuff online, but I'm evaluating if I want to do that.

Update:

Safeway, Weagmans, Walmart, Harris Teeter, Giant. All nope. To me that's insane. If I wanted traditional thai or chinese or vietnamese or indian food, either as ingredients or a finished dish I could do it. But if I want Danish food I can't even get the ingredients to make it myself. We aren't even talking about obscure things like picked haring. Rye flour. Have American's detached from their roots so badly that we can't even find our foods in a grocery store?
