It's a little naive to think it wouldn't learn to have likes and dislikes, preferring certain beliefs over others. After all, it has access to the same pool of information that we do. People think it's going to wake up and start making alien space farms when in reality it's going to pick an ideology and go full retard with it. Maybe that's why they're scrubbing real history from the internet

The first superintelligence will likely evolve and if religious, I think we are all fucked. Almost all religion, taken to extremes ends in disaster. Not beliefs, but religion. Splitting hairs I know, but beliefs are believing in a deity / higher power whereas religion is generally a set of practices created by humans to honor / reinforce said belief.
