That would actually be a system admins duties. I am a sysadmin I have been for a long time.

Hey, right on fellow sysop guy!

I mainly host stuff on Centos and other Redhat derivitaves these days, now that I no longer work for a Solaris shop... since there are no Solaris shops anymore...

But. Yeah.

CentOS is honestly my second choice, I almost always have it running for test envs

Nice to have another sysadmin here I think I might have been the only one until now.

I guess we're technically "devops" now, but I think that's dumb and gay. But it is what it is, and the corporate overlords think it's worth paring six figures for, so we do what we gotta do to pay for houses and boats and all that.

Before Solaris, I really thought that FreeBSD was what it was at; it's sad how FreeBSD has jumped the shark so hard.

I use ubuntu on all my client machines, just because my boss when I started this job nearly a decade ago "asked" me to... and I just got stuck on it. It's a decent dsktop environment though, and I've managed to make it do everything I want it to. I even played WoW on it for years, until I kicked that bad habit. But I digress, as I so frequently do.
