We have a TON of feral pigs here on the island. They're a real problem, and it's always open season on them. The downside is that they have practically no fat if they haven't interbred with domestic pigs, and the meat can be tough. A lot of the hunters here buy fat to add when they put them in the bbq pit.
They're also SUPER smart and fairly hard to hunt. We had trappers trying to get them off of our property for months before they finally gave up. The pigs are super destructive.
