I can say I've never done an Uber or Lyft. My husband will because he travels to and from airports at odd times, or might need to run an errand when he pulls into port. I just don't trust jumping into a stranger's car that hasn't been vetted and hoping they take you to the right place. At least with taxi's there are assurances.
