Let me explain:

It seems like motorcyclist are always lecturing other drivers and people about things the OTHER drivers and people could be doing to minimize THEIR risk of getting hurt when riding.

This annoys the hell out of me. When you get on a motorcycle you already are taking a huge risk. Why the hell should I be changing my behavior for YOUR hobby? (Just a few examples: "be aware motorcycles are everywhere", "don't blow your grass clippings on the road", "dim your headlights")

It reminds me of the same argument feminist use. They want to engage in a risky hobby (a promiscuous lifestyle) that is completely optional, but then they demand you change your behavior to make it a little less risky (Examples: "pay for my birth control", "teach safe sex instead of abstinence", " believe all women" etc).

Anyway the parallels seem pretty apparent to me. Then if you ask motorcyclists why you should change YOUR behavior for their risky choice they get all bitchy about it. Like it's their God given right to be on the road. Sure, you can be on the road -- just like thots can sleep with whoever they want. But why is it MY responsibility to make sure you are safe?

The answer: it's not. It's not my responsibility at all. But for some reason (just like with feminist) there is this culture of "protect motorcyclists".

Screw that. You know the risk when you jump on that bike. It's on you to minimize it, not me. I'm not going out of my way to kill you -- but I'm not going above and beyond to change my behavior for you either.

And I come from a motorcycle driving family. This is what set me off. Their entitled attitude that people should change their behavior because they are more "at risk" on a bike. YOU CHOOSE TO RIDE THE DAMN THING! AND YOU AREN'T EVEN WEARING A HELMET!

Half the time they go up on the sidewalk when it's convenient for them and then bitch at pedestrians for getting in the way. If your a cyclist, I will judge you harshly in how you conduct yourself in all aspects of life.

And also think nothing of running stop lights/signs, the laws don't apply to many of them.

Today, I had a cyclist run a stop sign in front of me from a sidewalk and past the pedestrian crossing. Dumbass never bothered slowing down when approaching the intersection even though I and another driver had right of way (turning right and going straight). There's no words to describe how much I loathe driving around cyclists.

Me too. I enjoy taking drives down the scenic back roads and sometimes it gets so out of hand with 'entitled' cyclists, it makes ya wanna strangle them.

And then, they chain their bikes up in the stupid places or assume they can take them into buildings. I watched a guy flip out because the train system won't let him take his bike on the first carriage of a train because the space is needed for disabled people.
