My company announced this last month that employees can take a day off as PAID time off in order to march in the local Pride parade.

The urge to buy a rainbow wig, a red clown nose and a bicycle horn and to march as Honkler was very hard to resist.

The potential for trolling the LBGQT crowd with Honkler is massive. Sadly I knew that marching as Honkler would probably get me fired because there was going to be a large number of people from my work there.

I had to satisfy myself with referring to the movement as "LGBA" ...that's what they used to call themselves back in the 90s and the "A" stood for "Allies". I knew that they would just have to correct me. "Oh no... we changed it to be inclusive to the Q and the T. It's LGBQTLMOPXYZ now..." to which I would respond "You removed the 'A' for 'Allies'?!? That's kind of fucked up." and walk away. Did it all month long and I could tell that it hit close to home. It even lead to a real conversation once about how they feel the LGBQT movement has been hijacked and is hostile to straits.

That's actually a brilliantly simple strategy. Pretend to be behind on the current terminology and then drop a neg that provokes people to think deeply on what they're mindlessly subscribing to. Also, I never even knew "LGBA" was a thing, but leftoids always got to come up with new words to mask the mental illness from public scrutiny.

Also, why not try and bring a straight pride parade to your town instead of Honkler? Or organize Happy Clown Reading Hours?

Yeah... way back when they used to make a big deal about the 'A' being for Allies and how the organization and movement was open and welcoming to all. Now they actively try to cover up the fact that there ever was an 'A' in the acronym. They even went and incorporated an organization named "Lesbian and Gay Band Association" or "LGBA" so as to confuse young folks that did not live through it.

I remember in high school they had the Gay-Straight Alliance club, but more recently they're just called the Gay Alliance clubs.

I will remember that tidbit about LGBA...

It would be fun, but I don't think it's worth it, not everyone (especially gays) will be familiar with the Honkler.

Allies is still occasionally included, but it's somewhere near the back. I'm sure that means nothing.

If you wear a frog mask under your wig and nose, your co-workers won't recognize you. Or if you're worried about no-mask laws, maybe just a lot of makeup will be enough to make you unrecognizeable.
