This is the problem. Freedom of speech shouldn't be at the whim of how you happen to feel that day. It must be a constant. That constant will be challenged by people that wish to do you harm and by people that just can't resist fucking with shit.You have to be immune to all that. Grow thicker skin. Trust that good will triumph over evil if given the chance.
If you show you are dedicated to free speech and the good and bad that comes with it, the right people will come here and make it a home. Otherwise it will just end up being an echochamber safe space.
I’ve been giving it my best shot for over a year now. I’m not always perfect it’s why I think people should question my choices. I’ve shown the people who have been here that I’m dedicated.
