So misinformation is going to be around forever. And disease.
It leaves me to think what has recently ended that was around for a long time.
Beta-max is dead, I would consider its demise recent speaking relatively in human terms, but it's start isn't so long ago either. What thing has died recently that is also the oldest among them? As in it ended within the last 50-100 years.
Brainstorm of things that are dead in the last 100.
vhs is dead
zip drives are dead
token rings are dead
steam engines are dead
Figured it out. Forms of gaelic are dead within the last 100 years and all others will be dead in 100 more but were around significantly longer than a steam engine. Is anyone able to top that? Also Flemish is almost there.
I'm just going to keep replying to myself. I would like to say the Qing dynasty but that's dead 107 years.
If we were just a few years back in time there would be so many things to claim. The turn of that century killed so many ancient things. The whole century prior did but there would be a few crums left at the tail end, that there would be a thing or two to call ancient. By 1915 there was basically nothing ancient the whole world over.
