you know those newspaper stands made of plastic? with the doors you swing open, and grab the paper?
if you light the newspapers in there on fire, and get it going good, the paper inside internally fuels the burn, until the whole thing goes so hot, that the entire plastic stand MELTS, and then starts mixing with burning paper into some unholy burning concoction like some kind of self mixing napalm, in a melting, hot dripping blob of liquid fire.
imagine a lump the size of the stand, but leaning, and misshapen, and made of brightly colored, scalding hot liquid plastic, fire, and ash. it's burning so hot you can't stand near it, and i dont even know if water could put the beast out
so, that was a neat childhood discovery
