I am days away should close on monday at 4. I'm excited to own something finally, and even better I'll have a static and a proper rack for the poal lab. Perhaps even a study eventually! Its what I'm calling my man cave I'm bringing it back. A yard thats mine in a nicer area than I'm in now will be great for the kids. My wife having a better kitchen so many things are about to improve. That said I may be less avaliable for a couple of days, but I'm pretty sure @AOU can handle it. He hasn't ever let us down before. Fuck yeah, it's nice to own real estate. The entire house is yours as a man, not just some "man cave" - love that you're bringing the study back, because that's exclusively yours to engage in intellectual and hobby pursuits

Eh honestly I’ve not the eye for decorating a family home so I will let the wife handle that, the study is mine, and I believe it may have a bar. It has saloon doors right now so I think it might need a bar too.

Vegetables and fruits! We are considering chickens but that yard is pretty small, planters all over the house will be filled with strawberry plants and apple trees in place of the bushes in the front yard. Vegetables In a small garden in the back. I’m excited about this and I have put a fair bit of thought into it

They can be viscous little bastards but my in laws kept them for a year and the kids loved them, good luck, it took a metric fuck ton of effort to get here and more than my fair share of pain but keep at it, it’s all worth it in the end. Nothing worth doing is easy.

I’m sure once I finish signing that mountain of paperwork it’s going to be surreal. Can’t wait to get fixing and growing and all that jazz. Probably going to have to find a new job in short order but at least this will be done before that.
