My argument after clarifying for you, "I believe that the existence of god is possible, but according to the information I currently have, I don't think there is a god." It hasn't changed at all during this entire conversation.

This IS your original assertion. An edgy comment about a sky wizard (a common atheist term, as you're well aware) being "forced down their throats". You are implying an atheistic viewpoint with that statement.
