Honestly as someone who gets addicted to stupid games all the time, I can see the thought process behind gaming disorder. Not everyone who games has got a problem, but some people do. And since we do pretty much all our work on gaming machines it would be a good idea to figure out how to help those people. Declassifying transgenderism as a mental disorder seems callous. It seems like “the intention is to reduce barriers to care” is code for letting people mutilate themselves (edit: under the supervision of health professionals) without undergoing some kind of mental health therapy first.
