When I first saw the details on one with the cone shaped gear stepping I thought it was a work of genius and the ability to adjust the tension points to make it more lower or high speed was a great feature. WIth carbon fiber that wasn't available at the time belts made of it could last for many many years compared to a regular belt and with the tranny that can give you smooth acceleration constantly could be the way tranny's could be sold in the future.
