Actually no it isn’t.

I have a Walkera 60 size 6ch helicopter and they are very intuitive at that scale and the larger the more stable.

Now with turbine they are very stable.

Reason being is that they have multiple gyros and it is hooked to the avionics so they adjust on auto unless you tell them not to.

Also turbine has less vibration due to its tight tollerances.

Wow TIL, I had an RC copter once upon a time and that thing was insane to control.

Yeah belt driven tail rotors help quite a lot as well.

There is a gear ratio and it is far more reliable than a speed controller on a motor for the tail rotor.

That way all you need to control is the pitch of the blades. Same with main rotor and the swachplate construction.

My first 6ch was made of plastic and it was shitty as shit. Aluminum is the way to go seeing as it can handle much more stresses.

Those turbine ones are not acrobatic in the sense of 3D flight.
