It made glass.... not melted rock that reformed into rock.
Given that it is composed of multiple substances, as you referenced in another reply, and these substances were separated by heating, it would not just reform back into it's whole form. It fucking melted.
If your argument is that some substances melt, and others do not, just say so. Saying rocks don't melt though is disingenuous.
That rock didnt melt. The argument is that lava is NOT a melted rock its a type of glass. Which your video actually supports. If anything, glass was made. Thats a chemical reaction not a physical reaction. Do you even chemistry?
You should probably have been more clear in your case. You said to find a video of a stone being melted. Granite is a great example. You say "river rock". You can find granite stones in rivers.
You are construing that rocks are not glass, yet say that rocks contain glass. Then you say that lava is glass. If rocks melt and produce molten glass, then that is simply how the world works. It doesn't mean you can't melt rocks.
