Thank-you to Boobs and whoever else set this place up. You guys have done a great job. The interface is good and easy to use and the site has a nice overall vibe to it. As this place grows I hope it keeps that chilled vibe. After being on Voat for the last two years I noticed many changes and had stopped going there as much, hoping an alternative would pop up. Voat used to keep subs fairly well contained but in the past year everything is jew this jew that.Every post no matter what topic would have irrelevant strings of comments about jews. It's like the SPLC was jewing up the site to get it shut down. Voat used to have a good immune system but it stopped working and the shilling got out of control. Anyway I hope that doesn't happen here and that this place continues to grow and thrive.

I didn't post too much on Voat because I could never keep track of the sites that were welcome and the ones that weren't. They could be pretty crabby about that. I see here there doesn't seem to be any problem posting direct links to youtube. Are there any guidelines for posting here for which I should be aware? Or should I not worry about that? I want to contribute, but I'm not terribly tech savvy, and I'm a bit hesitant. Thanks for any guidance.

I don't think we have any strong unwritten rules like that. Using picinfinity.co by our own can help ensure that an image doesn't go off the web if one host is shut down. Archiving an article that may be changed or deleted can be helpful for preservation.
