I'm not buying it. I saw too much collaboration going on between the builders for this whole thing to just be a hysterical response to a bad move. I think this apology and un-banning is just meaningless gesture to placate the sheep-goats and get them back in the pen. So many of these sheep-goats are now praising Putt for "owning up to his asshole behavior". Fuck that noise. I'm not crawling back there. I like it here on Poal. I'm contributing more here than on Voat where it was just a shitpost-fest 24x7. There's community here on Poal. I missed that from the early days of Voat. It's a chance to start over and actually share and discuss like rational, intelligent and mature adults. I'm getting ready to fire up a new sub for Makers and tinkerers that would never have taken off on Voat. The Poal community has already told me they will join in so I'm making my plans to do this right and not drop the ball like my Voat subs. That's where Poal is different- niche subs can thrive if we feed them. I'm a Poalr Bear now. [makes Poalr Bear sounds]
Thank you! I feel the same way. He saw the revolt and exodus and needed to do damage control. Voat is a product now and bleeding users is bad for business. He answers to his investor now lol!

Glad to see another former goat who didn't fall for the crocodile tears Put shed today. You're right about Voat being beholden to its investor(s). I don't know how long they will survive, but if social media teaches us anything, there's always a lot of fools who will tolerate and even call for their own control and censorship. I'm done with them.
