And recently Putt has been shilling for PIA. Should we be using PIA? Is it compromised? I like it, but can you suggest any good alternatives? (If it doesn't accept crypto, GTFO.)

I hadn't seen that.

I was more thinking like putting your valuables in a lockbox someone gave you a key to, especially in the context of that site, kind of problem. That may be what they are saying at least partly as well.

Man-in-the-middle would give you everything.
