I think people need to get in now while they're still cheap before they're merely chasing drops of it because digital currencies are the future. There's no stopping what's coming. Hyper inflation of the USD will be the catalyst to usher it all in, whenever that will happen who knows.
But in the meantime, bitcoin is going to 20k by next spring, 100k+ eoy 2020.
Most altcoins are shit and will eventually go extinct, save for a select few. I think the best alt coins will be the ones with the most utility like xrp, eth, iota, xlm etc.. Right now most of these are trading for pennies except eth and perhaps ltc because of its legacy.
Crypto will make smart money that gets in now an absolute fortune in the next few years. Bitcoin has already appreciated by 4,000,000% since the genesis block was mined and it's going nowhere but up.

No I don't hold any ltc.
Short term as in next year, with the halving in August I think it will do really well. After that fades I'm not so sure because eventually a massive utility bull run will happen and I see ltc as more speculative than useful so I think it will eat shit eventually. I could certainly be wrong though. My main hold is xrp and I don't see that changing any time soon.
