By censoring free speech the first means of persuasion is effectively off the table. Leaving only two options surrender or physical conflict.

Society is heading down a bad road with this censorship fad. People really just need to grow the fuck up, and quit letting every little thing on the Internet offend them so much.

I disagree. I think that the prohibition against censorship is unreasonable. If you censored stupid people, for example you would be doing the world a favor. Only by censoring the foolish and the wicked can we have peace.

The issue with this is an individual imposing their views of right and wrong on masses. This is more of a philosophical question, really. It's the reason we try to decentralize power in government.
What if said individual's views of right and wrong disagree with yours? What would you do? Would you try to make things more fair?
