My friend, I don't even remember the last time I have seen the stars. :) Live in a city with dirty, polluted air. Make me (kinda) wish I lived in the village or something. Someone like H. P. Lovecraft wouldn't be able to think/write about the futility of mankind if he couldn't see the stars, which he wouldn't be able to if he lived later and in a dirtier city.
So let's say for the sake of the conversation that you're right and there is no outer space, what does it change? That the governments of the world are stealing money from their citizens, subjects, sure, but what else?
Also do you believe (or allow for the possibility of) in aliens/extraterrestrials? Why or why not? If you search in Jewgle or in a search engine of your choice (I use Metager, Startpage and Qwant), "mowing devil" you will find that the earliest supposed Crop Circles were encountered in 1678, that is older than the steam engine (1698).
Anyway, if I came to the conclusion that nukes are not real, that would be a very relaxing, almost cathartic thought, if (benevolent) aliens were real, that would be very interesting, but space being fake, what does it change? for better or worse...
Bible is truth. Thats the point. Outer space is clearly fantasy. Its not God's creation.
Edit: upvoted you to set your comment back to zero.
Got it, so no outer space automatically means no aliens. I don't know, the Bible does say about "four corners of the earth", but on the other hand there is a portrain of Elizabeth I of England where whe puts a hand on a globe earth (off topic but when i was a kid we had a 0,5 x 1,5 meters puzzle thing where you need to construct this exact portrait).
I'm open to the idea that no one to this point was in the outerspace. :) I just disagree that it's impossible, but even if it is possible I won't have any proof outside of what the governments tell us.
Im confused why you think a portrait of someone (an earthly historical figure no less) with a globe proves something?
Bible is clear. Earth is flat and unmoving and under a firmament. No such thing as outer space. The luminaries are inside of the firmament.
