The ban page says I have a -1 to user NiggerVirus, which I am pretty sure was received when I downvoated a bunch of his stuff from his comments page when he, being NiggerVirus, asked for downvoates, so I obliged and went through his shit and mass downvoated.

I will also fully admit that I've done the same to other users such as Tendiesonfloor, because he's a piece of shit that posts misinformation and (he has admitted this himself) propaganda. I've gone through his submissions and comments and downvoted all his shit.

Will some people find this disagreeable? Yes. But there is no rule stating I can't do this. While following threads about the bans I've seen that Puttitout has made posts in the past about vote manipulation that have danced around saying what I did isn't acceptable, but there has been no official rule saying this is ban worthy. I have never used multiple accounts or been involved in organized brigades, I have only used one accounts up or down voates as the site allows. I received no warning.

The funny thing is, I've been upvoating NiggerVirus for a while because it amuses me how people are annoyed by him.

I see now that Puttitout made a post a year ago about vote manipulation and how he was going to drop the hammer on users that did it, but he never posted any rules or guideline on what constitutes vote manipulation. If this is such a big issue for him, why hasn't he made these rules official?

That all sounds just like things I've done, although I never really go to user's pages, I just find and downvoted their inane commentary wherever I came across it... and for pretty much the same reasons. I guess my account on voat is dooooomed! So yeah.

This place actually seems to have well outlined rules. But then, so did voat until putt putted the whole place all up.

Yep, in the welcome page it clearly says what down downvotes are for, and I will abide by this sites rules, and I would have done the same on Voat of it had been clearly stated.

Why did Putt not do this? Can't say for sure, but it's pretty convenient for getting rid of undesireables. I'm not saying I'm one of those, I was a small fish, but you have to pad the bans of your targets with innocents.
