Hey all, firstly i just want to recommend that everyone go and check out their profile settings.

On mobile this will be accessed by pressing the button on the top right that looks like an equals sign, and then the gear. You can also switch to nightmode from that area, view your mail, and your profile.

Once in your settings, there are a few boxes you can decide to check or not (i recommend enabling NSFW content and disabling custom sub styles and infinite scrolling, but thats just me)

A key thing to note is that to save these settings you need to scroll down to the bottom, there is an "EDIT USER" button with a password box directly above it, enter your pass and click edit to save your changes.

Hah now now now. I dont think we have the appropriate audience here for it, but faggots love me. Did a little work in the solo porn world for a while, marketed towards women, cuz duh, i was in it for the bitches, but i ended up being immensely popular with the dudes instead. Even got offered a large sum of money if i would do a gay porno movie, but sadly i dont particularly swing that way... i almost regret not doing it, because money, but damnit dudes are just not my thing

Also I have my page zoomed out to 80% and it is so much easier on the eyes.

Thats just a browser setting right? Do you know if its possible on Brave browser for Android to do that?

I just tried it to no effect, there is > settings > accessibility > Text Scaling

but it doesn't seem to change anything. However this website is in its infant stage and I have absolutely no idea about coding or anything like that.

Yes it also did nothing for me.

My only issue so far is that deep comment threads become one letter per line down the side of my screen. Very hard to read

I confess, I needlessly antagonized you when you made accusations. I should have been the adult and remained civil - but I did not. I'm sorry for failing to do that, and I should have. ** The following are not excuses - they are things I actually encourage to you to check and keep checking.**

I have absolutely zero interest in manipulating this site (or Voat). I like to make potato posts.

I am everything I say I am. I have zero motive to lie to you - you're just pixels on my screen.

I don't take part in brigades. I don't initiate brigades.

The only reason I'm really here is 'cause I like PMYB2 and I want to see his site succeed.

If someone wants to take over a sub I have AND they're willing to provide content, I'll happily hand it over. I grabbed the subs to ensure that I don't bump into a threshold posting limit as I have limited time to post content. (One exception, I grabbed SBBH to reserve it for the SBBH people should they come over in an outage. But, if you are willing to take on posting anime, memes, bad jokes, and potato posts...)

I would not even consider taking a position of anything other than that of a regular user. Hell no... I want absolutely ZERO responsibility for the shit you folks do. No, that's not on my list of shit to do.

I do have an education and a great deal of experience. I'm very happy to share that with people. I'm mostly retired and I like explaining stuff to people. I'm not being pretentious, unless irked. At that point, I tend to get a bit obnoxious. (That's really unlikely to change.)

This may be tough to swallow - but bear with me. If I call someone an idiot, there's a reason for it. It may be worth your time to ask me why I'm calling them an idiot. There's very good odds that I'm happy to explain it - and already have tried to. I should probably work on that, but I really don't have much patience when I've already explained it. I dislike repeating myself.

I can be abrasive, but I'm mostly harmless. I don't ask you to kowtow to me and I have every expectation that I'll be held to high standards because I put myself in that position. (I'm pretty much a national treasure!)

I don't agree with the vast majority of people on Voat. I've made that abundantly clear. However, I've never once tried to stop them from saying it. Where I stand is on the side of free speech. My actions absolutely enforce this. I neither voted down, nor deleted, any of your comments.

In a nutshell, that's who I am.

If you don't like who I am, it's maybe a good idea just to not seek me out and bug me? You can, but I can only remain civil for so long and then, at that point, I get a bit pissy. I don't actually care if you DV my comments - I'm not here for points. However, you do your fellow site visitors a disservice, because I tend to submit solid things that are interesting, educational, or entertaining.

Again, I'm not interested in controlling or manipulating Poal. I'm interested in helping a site about free speech get off the ground while I still have time to do so.

I'm not actually sure what you've seen that you think could be anything else. I'm very willing to answer ANY questions you might have (though it's getting a bit late here.)

And, indeed, I'm sorry that I responded like an abrasive asshole. I am unable to promise to not do it again - as I tend to do that when people approach me like that.

disabling custom sub styles

It's safe to keep it on as external links to images/scripts/etc... is disabled in the custom CSS (to avoid doxxing).

I constantly had issues on voat with peoples CSS fuckin things up, so i just defaulted to having it always disabled. If someone has a really awesome CSS i have just got to see, i might check it out
