Add to the list of things that are completely unnecissary and overkill:

Put a monaco editor in there. Completely over kill but you would get..

Line numbers
Language specific syntax highlighting
Syntax error highlighting
People could edit the code to copy and repaste without opening a text editor

It's like strapping a V8 to weed wacker and that's why I like the idea.
