The only real difference is that it taste exactly the same nearly every time. But that's how fast food works anyway. It's just an assembly line.
Bingo. Automation will be used exactly where and when people want repeatable experiences. It won't take over value-added fine dining or any other area where consumers demand other characteristics or variety.
