The poster probably felt really good about fighting back against the mini-country of New Zealand. What he did was raise the temperature in the room quite a bit with the aggressive reply. I support what he said, but the issue is bigger than he is. What he didn't realize is that everyone in politics has friends that have friends, and so on, even internationally. This is now very much public. Someone that doesn't like his tone and supports globalism will see it, maybe they already have, that will make a conscious decision to act in an unpredictable manner. Eventually, some shit might come down on him. He might start getting speeding tickets in a couple of years. Maybe his business will be sued. Maybe he'll be framed for a crime. Maybe nothing will happen. I hope it doesn't. Still, a simple "NO" would have sufficed, allowing the issue to gently fade away. Now, he'll never know, when something bad happens to him in the future, if karma just bit him in the ass.
Would I say what he said in the way he said it? No.
The smartest move, when in doubt, is to say nothing, at all.
Was I amused that he said it? Absolutely.
