Hope you're right.
Trump tweeted that if Congress does not authorize the wall, in 21 days he will direct it be built for national security. He has the authority to do so. It seems like he's through testing Pelosi and her libtard minions. If he fails to build the wall, I think he'll have a much harder time getting re-elected.
Trump certainly isn't going to do nothing. Although I don't know what his viable options will be. The national security angle seems politically risky, he may not care. Would the wall actually get built before he left office? If he declares it, the wall will not be up next month. There will be legal issues to resolve and by the time all is said and done, he could be out of office.
What I want to see is a push to privatize, move to state level, or eliminate some of these jobs effected by the shutdown. This shutdown highlighted how over involved the federal government is.
Amen to that he fed being over involved.
Trump is gangsta.
One thing is certain. The pressure is off the DNC goons with this foolish 21-day reprieve, so any chance they would of caved is now zero chance. Pelosi and Schumer are patting themselves on the back all emboldened, their MSM minions are declaring victory over The Beast, and Trump supporters are left disappointed. 2020 is not looking good.
