I'd say it is. But Voat also started out like that too.

Gab also started out like that too.

How will you combat casual spammers?

Honestly. I haven't found a method yet but I know vote restrictions are not the answer due to watching what happened on voat. I think its possible moderators are the answer ones that are closely monitored by the admins. I think ultimately it boils down to a question of who polices the police and for the moment that will fall to me. I'm the only one with database access. I have my standards of what I will and will not allow. I will allow any form of speech I assume spam will be heavily downvoted and for the most part won't be a problem. If it becomes one I'll find a solution as I have for every problem I've ever run into. If my solution isn't working anymore I will change it. I don't think I can predict the results of how a true free speech platform will go as one hasn't ever truly existed but that doesn't mean it can't. If its possible I'll find a way.

A true free speech platform can not exist.

You already have several rules in place that limit true free speech.

I suppose I have imposed the philosophical assumptions and limited true free speech based on that but I guess my argument would be a free speech platform that is as ethically close to free speech as can be approached.
