On the contrary, I have. I've had these debates many, many times (possibly even with you), but in the end it's always the flattard that refuses to look or reason. It's all so tiresome. Here's just one example from Voat:

You find it hard to put into words because it's a bunch of nonsense. Does that video actually make sense to you, or do you just nod your head along because it supports your chosen position? Why does the North pole star magically become not visible south of the Equator? The simple answer is that as you move along the surface of a sphere, the stars above change positions accordingly -- they ROTATE in and out of view, exactly as you would expect. It would be radically different if the Earth was flat. This is something any flat Earther can test and verify for themselves. No "Nasau" needed.
Yes it makes sense. We can only see so far. Did it not make sense to you? Or did you just shake your head because it doesn't support your chosen position?
You can actually see the Polaris from the southern hemisphere, but only in the right atmospheric conditions.
