I think I've discovered the formula. If the activity is pro communism or involves people who are pro communism, the virus doesn't infect.

The virus is too dangerous to permit anyone to celebrate Australia Day unless you change it to Invasion Day, then you're safe.

You also can't get covid on Chinese New Year's.
