They eat anything breathing they catch. Had one in the yard the other night. SpouseAnon left a deer block outas about 5lbs and it was gone next AM. Dog was going apeshit and wouldn't step off the porch. I saw the bear run down the drive when I stepped out. Tracks in snow all around the house next morning. We have a lot of them. I carry bear spray to walk the dog. It's been above freezing for a few days last week.
