Give it about 30 to 50 years and all this will seem such a waste of time as we (I might not live to see it though) live in a cold dark world when the magnetic poles finish their current movements and it only takes a small flare up from the sun to wipe out all the electrical infrastructure. Billions will die and only a few million will make it through the next turn of the century. There will be new myths and legends about a time when mankind had accomplished so much only to see nature slap them back to hunter gathering and subsistence farming. If I am not alive I hope to bear witness from the next realm where ever or whatever that is.
