For me it started in Gitmo.

In late 1993 a young Lance Corporal showed up ready for duty. Gitmo at the time was a microcosm of a microcosm called the US Military. Our Colonel was akin to a warlord. Nobody on the island outranked him and he acted accordingly. He was the old breed.

My Company Gunny asked the three newbies reporting in if any of us were "Clinton Marines". This is code for faggot. Remember, "don't ask, don't tell." We got a ration of shit for that policy as FNGs and stupid me said, "yeah, I voted for him".

That remark landed me in the Armory for 2 weeks after lunch chow. I'd go wolf down the whatever was hot, brown and lots of it for the day then run to the Armory to clean weapons for 1 hour.

The Gunny was smart. He broke my blue dog democrat culture by forcing me to listen to Rush Limbaugh for 1 hour everyday. After 2 weeks I was a Republican and so began my life "keeping abreast" of politics.

What a mass consumption of my time, energy, money and emotion. I could have spent that energy finding new chicks to fuck, rebuilding an old 4x4 Jeep, learning how box, or another trade (like plumbing).

Instead I sat before the alter of the Baphomet and was lead down the rabbit hole of illusion. Pure porn-fare.

I hate porn, but I love fucking new chicks. I'll never vote again, but I will lie to a chick and tell her I'm voting for her candidate so I can fuck her. BTW: Trump wasn't elected in 2016, he was selected.

I don’t approve. “Fucking new chicks” is simple degeneracy and buying into nihilism. It’s destructive to the soul and mind. The purpose of physical union is that of the joining and fulfillment of the soul, a mirroring of one’s values, even for the irreligious. It isn’t some hedonistic pleasure seeking and mere animal function.

Your point was easily summarized by your shallow hedonism. In short, you’re no different than the dim witted bimbos you bed, because you can’t rise to anything greater.

The ignorant lack the understanding that the “politics” of today is the history of tomorrow. This isn’t to say actively bothering with the two party system pantomime itself is worth the effort. However, assessing and grasping the mechanics and motivations behind what is occurring, a depth of knowledge of what came before, including economics study, offer insights beyond the mere stimulus response of the beast.
