Judo came from Jigaro Kano, who took the throws from JJJ and removed the eye pokes and wrist locks so they could spar with full intent.
Kano's students destroyed the other JJJ students and everyone started doing Judo.
JJJ did not survive WWII, it's not even a real martial art anymore.

Congrats on me training Judo and passing those history exams and reading Kano's book "Kodokan Judo", sitting on the book shelf next to me.
Not to mention training just about every SPARRING martial art known to man since I was 10.
