I’m fortunate to have a good old Kentucky cave with water flowing so in set on water, plus a bunch stored up. Berky water filters with back ups.
We canned a lot of meat last summer when it was cheap. We have 30 laying hens and 30 dozen eggs stored up. This time of year we get a dozen a day. Planning to hatch out at least 20 eggs this spring. Plus some big gardens. Lots of beans, rice, etc stored up.
What is needed for “pole reversal scenario?
Bunker with Faraday cage is needed but it only might work.
I get water a plenty in rainfall (200-300 inches a year).
Jungle chickens are free and absolutely everywhere and in amazing variety but I'm gonna get a flock of sumatrans.
Wild piggies tame easy and be caught and fattened up for free.

I went down the faraday cage road a while back. Abandoned the idea. Put money into traditional offline library of books.
Sounds like you have plenty of access to protein.

I got books too. Just ordered books on butchering, seed saving and herbal medicines. Already got books on processing timber and most of the tools. Need broad axe.

Both. Japanese pull saws are amazing. I only got one. Need moar of those as well.
