I think people have always been a little like this.. it's just a large portion of them are now pack dogging some retarded gay shit. I think it's just the proliferation of access to the internet has allowed the filthy masses to express themselves in a massively visible and permanent way. I tend to scroll my cities subreddit at least once a month. It's a little less scary if you can keep on top of what's going on and subconsciously digest it all.
