my friend at the local grocery store said stores are spraying all the fruit and vegetables with disinfectants in the middle of the night like a bug fogger. Next up "covid cancer" from eating tainted vegetables.

Is he sure he's not just seeing the automatic misters that spray water on the produce every so often? It would be easy to imagine those being disinfectants or chemicals of some kind.
