You should always be washing your produce. I used to work in a produce department back in the day, and people manhandle everything. The worst are the elderly, who come in barely having bathed in days. They have no sense of smell anymore, so they grasp everything tightly in their claws and press it up against their upper lip to sniff it. WASH EVERYTHING.
