Government house after 7 years on the waiting list.

My 50% mortgage is down to £119 a month after 2 years of early repayments, and the remaining 50% is £112 a month rent (subsidised, non profit) which I can buy later or just leave it as the government pays for the rent.

My bills are under £45 a month too.

I just also need to do 5% early repayment each year but thats like £1200, should have my share paid off in another 8-10 years of minimal payments, then I can think about buying the rest.

Even initially my morgage was just £129 pm, and it goes down each year with my early repayment. Paying off more than 5% isnt worth it as I get more fees / interest (10 year fixed rate, 40 year term for minimal repayments).

Being a POC in a white nation is nice isn't it

Very.

My lounge is still unfurnished though because of coronavirus. I have enough money saved to get the lounge and gardens done, but cant have anyone come to do the work yet.

Not bad. I've paid more for less here in the states. How long term you thinking there?

That’s a lot of money for a dollhouse
