Knows something about keeping websites online? I stopped using PB years ago because it was usually offline lol
it isn't anymore, it's alive and kicking again (most of the time)
There are dozens of proxy sites
It's only like 40% of the time now.
There was always mirrors, just had to sift through the phishing mirror sites. Not that I was a heavy user
"In more recent years, Kolmoisoppi has moved on to fund Njalla, a privacy-centric domain name registration service. One he says was already asked to host Parler, and refused." He's been jewed.
Read the last paragraph.
Fucking censorship fag.
Parler's CEO is (((John Matze))) https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/Matze "Etymology 1 From Yiddish מצה (matse), from Hebrew מַצָּה (matsá)."
Agreed, Parler took the Voat way out. Accept these shekels and pretend you have to shutdown.
I have no idea how they operated, but he may have originally been funded by venture capitalists or angel investors. That money does tend to dry up once you have gotten off the ground and they realize that you do not have a viable business plan or a way to ever make a profit.
Twitter has lost billions and billions of dollars for years and years on end. It obviously would have gone out of business if it wasn't politically useful to shape public opinion. Powerful people keep Twitter alive with cash injections. Parler didn't have that luxury. It makes me wonder how long they would have been able to operate in spite of the lack of web hosting before they ran through their funding.
I read parler was partially funded by tax dollars
