Men are born, they are idealistic, they are disillusioned, they get old, no one listens to them since they are "just bitter" and they die.

The cycle repeats.

We maintain historical records of exactly what went wrong that no one has read since they don't care. Past mistakes will not and can not be avoided.

Most people are bad, they may not all be "evil" but they are certainly negligent.

No they don't, it's all on Wikipedia of all places.

One can read about the Jewish-Roman wars, the occupation of Spain, the Inquisition, the origins of Antifa, gun control in Weimar vs "nazi" Germany and any number of things that almost no one here knows anything about, let alone in broader society.

That's how little they respect you and with good reason.
