There’s nothing funny about it, and that’s our people they are fucking up. Saying something reprehensible is funny is a coping mechanism that people use to displace feelings of powerlessness and not knowing how to take ownership of what should be righteous anger. It’s the same thing people do when instead of fully confronting something, they give soft criticism and say “I just think that’s sad”
