The way I look at is this. The Nazi's views on race were based on science except they had yet discovered genetics. They knew of hereditary traits and that was enough for them to form their race based ideology. They knew that science reinforced their views that they were the superior people.
Here's the thing, not only did Western science destroy the beliefs which formed the foundation of religious doctrines around the world, it also used science to empower the assertions that we Whites are in fact the superior people. Science basically disempowered religous groups by exposing their beliefs as bullshit while simultaneously providing proof of why Whites are in actuality the superior people and therefore had the right to inherit the earth through genetic merit. We can now prove through science as opposed to the disproven word of fictional " Gods" that we are the superior people. DNA does not lie. If anything it is the blueprint by which God created us, therefore making our claim of superiority divine. Aligning along the lines of race is essentially aligning with science. Aligning along the lines of religion is essentially aligning along the lines of fiction and propaganda.
Race/genetics will always be the most powerful driving force behind the development of a society/group. Culture is a product of genetics. It's called biological determinism. Some argue that social constructivism theory is the predominant driving force behind human behavior. This is to say that our environment is the predominant determining factor behind human behavior. This is true to an extent, however our biological determinism ( DNA) is the primary driving force behind what we do, especially as a group. This can be proven by observing how a racial group will modify an inherited religion or culture to suit their own biology. There are many instances of racial groups modifying a foreign religion or culture to suit their biological determinism.
Culture is a product of genetics and biological determinism. We create a world that reflects our thoughts and beliefs. Our thoughts and beliefs are the product of our genes. This is what we mean by the term " genetically hard wired" . DNA=Culture. Very simple formula to remember.
