Being aware of the situation we're in makes it impossible to live a happy care free life. Imagine just being able to work and build a family without the underlying feeling of impending doom. We've been denied a happy existence that our forefathers fought for thousands of years to provide to us. We all have a responsibility to defend our civilization from destruction.

Isn’t that what europeans said when they settled in massachusetts? Are there a lot of indians left in massachusetts? Or the presbyterians when they settled N. Ireland or the chinese when they settled Singapore? Why aren’t you a colonist? You are the dictionary definition of a colonist. You think all colonists come in shooting? You think because it isn’t literal slavery it isn’t exploitation?

I just told you, you are taking their jobs, making them servants to foreigners in their own country. Driving up housing prices and prices of a lot of other goods and services. And you admit you have no allegiance to Belize culture. How many foreigners live in belize now? Several million? 20 or 30% of the population have zero skin in the game for belize, they’re just there for cheap electricity bills? You think that doesn’t fuck up a country?

I’m just planning to live there.

I'm wealthy, I won't have a job. My money and teachings may create some though. Ia m bringing my house. Prices won't increase just because I buy some food. You're thinking in US capitalism terms,that doesn't apply where I am going.

Law of supply and demand? Hello? That’s exactly how prices increase. You and the other million colonists drive up the price of everything. Its cheap to you. Its not cheap to them.

Im thinking in economic terms. Economics applies everywhere.

Money is a means to an end, a tool, unless you have no culture. You are unapologetically materialistic. Im trying to convince you that is because you fundamentally misunderstand the nature of society. Im not saying that you dont respect belize culture. Im saying you have no concept of what culture is and how it helps to regulate all human societies. Belize is just a line on a map to you, something you can buy. That is not true to Belizans I promise you.
