There are these apartments in a large complex near where I live. I'm pretty sure their rent is more than my mortgage. I live in a small house with a yard. Rent is out of control. I rented for a long time.

I have a friend who pays $3,000/month for a 2-bedroom apartment an hour north of New York City. He makes over six figures, but I just can't see paying that or living there.

i have my own pet peeves on house buying when i t comes to liability and asset ownership, but at least it seems like paying into a tangible item is rewarding. Paying into rent is just pissing away money into nothingness. Ive had issues telling myself if i want to pay off my house, since agenda 2030 bans private ownership of property. Hard to tell, and a very expensive gamble.

I just think of it as paying rent to a bank instead of to a landlord, and I can do whatever I want. I used to have hangups as well.

the taxes are much more geared towards asset ownership, in terms of mortgage interest deductions and the likes. I think the whole rent vs buy debt is just a bunch of salty people who cant afford to buy a house trying to rationalize why being rent serfs forever is so ideal for them.

When the time comes you will have something to defend. You won't survive if those fsggots win, and if you win those faggots won't be around to take your house.
